Privacy at Steady State: your answers stay put, one button is logged
Steady State, a practice site for the BCaBA® (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) exam, has no accounts, sets no cookies and loads no analytics. It keeps exactly one record: a log line each time someone presses a “Get the app” button. This page lists what that line holds.
Your practice answers stay in the tab
The trial kit is a script that runs in the open page. Your picks, the trial sheet with its + and − cells, and the cumulative record exist only inside that browser tab. Nothing about them is sent to a server, and a reload or a closed tab wipes them. There is nothing to sign in to and nothing to delete afterward.
The one record: an app-button press
A “Get the app” button does not link to the App Store directly. It goes to go.bcaba-mock-exam.com, a small redirect service of this site, which decides where your device should land and sends you there. After the redirect has gone out, the service writes one line about the press to a log on the team's server. Your browser receives no cookie and runs no script for this.

- Android: the practice exam on this site, since the app exists for iPhone only.
- Computer: a one-screen page on go.bcaba-mock-exam.com with the App Store badge and a link to the practice exam in your browser. Whichever you pick is logged the same way.

Its one use is counting how many app visits each page sends. Only the people who run Steady State can read it; it is not sold, and no advertiser receives a copy.
What is absent from every page

- None, first-party or third-party.
- Measurement scripts
- None. No analytics package, pixel, ad tag or social widget loads here.
- Accounts and forms
- None. No sign-up, no newsletter, and no field asks for a name or an email address.
- Outside resources
- None. Typefaces, styles and the trial-kit script come from this site's own server; no other site's content is embedded.
Cloudflare hosts these static pages. Serving them means handling the usual request data (IP address, URL, user-agent string, timestamp), and that data falls under Cloudflare's privacy policy, not this one. Nothing on Steady State reads it or adds to it.
Other sites, other policies
When the App Store opens, Apple's privacy policy takes over, and what happens inside the app is described in the privacy section of its store listing. Source links go to bacb.com (the BCaBA Handbook, the Test Content Outline (6th ed.), the Ethics Code, pass-rate and certificant data) plus one to ABAI for accredited programs; each of those sites applies its own rules. Steady State runs no advertising and carries no affiliate links.
